For the coming weeks, I will be posting about the places I have visited in Jeju Island.

So far I have been to Korea twice, the first time was with my family following a tour in 2012 from December to January (Winter) for around a week. The second time I went with a friend in 2013 from May till June (Summer) for 3 weeks to explore again. You know, normally for the last day of the trip you will feel really reluctant to return home, but I guess staying in Korea for 3 weeks really got us all worn out and my pocket couldn’t sustain any longer as well hahah !

These coming weeks, I will just be talking about my first trip to Korea and all the touristy places that the tour guide brought us to, I will just automatically skip those. Before we head to Drama World Museum, filling up the tummy is a must 😏  Perhaps I was famished back then, the Dakgalbi (‎닭갈비) lunch was so fulfilling ~

在来临的几个星期我会上传我在济州岛的旅游点滴。

目前我已去过韩国两次，第一次是和家人一同随旅游团在 2012 年的十二月尾到一月头（冬天），那时待了大概一个星期左右。另一次是在 2013 年五月尾到六月头 （夏天）和朋友又跑到韩国探险，这次我们足足待了三个星期。通常最后一天回国总有点依依不舍的感觉，可是待了三个星期的我们实在是累垮了，我想当时口袋也坚持不住了哈哈！

这几个星期，我会专注在第一次的韩国行程，那些观光客去的地方我就不提啦… 在开始介绍 Drama World 博物馆之前，当然先要填满肚子呵呵 😏  可能当时我真的饿坏了，这餐 Dakgalbi (‎닭갈비) 实在是让我十分满足啊 ～

In fact, this museum is quite remote, the place is also quite rundown, if not for our tour bus bringing us here, I guess getting to this museum could eat up half our day. Though I had a really fun time here with my family, coming back here is a nono. If you have travelled all parts of Jeju Island and have nowhere else to go, then maybe you can think about visiting this museum.

其实这博物馆挺偏僻的，地方也有点旧，要不是旅游巴士把我们带到这里，我想要到达这博物馆应该也要花上半天的时间。虽然和我家人在这玩得很开心，但不至于会再回来。如果你已经走遍济州岛，没有别的地方可去，那你才考虑来这里吧 ～


In general, travellers don’t really spend a lot of time in Jeju Island, so I would recommend you save your precious Jeju time for places that are more worth visiting, unless you are super in love with the ancient Korean setup, in that case I can’t stop you 😅

通常大家都不会花很长的时间待在济州岛，所以我建议把宝贵的时间留给比这里更值得的地方，除非你真的很喜欢古装的韩剧，那么我就阻止不了你了啦 😅

Good morning earthlings! Hope your week is going well. The weather has been sooo unforgiving these days that I just wanna hibernate on ice caps. So when a friend rings me up for lunch meetup, I was almost reluctant to turn up for the love of my air conditioned room. But knowing that I can visit Sephora (my kind of playground), I jumped at the chance.

We decided to meet up at Plaza Singapura and have Nana’s Green Tea. It was both our first time dining there. The menu isnt as extensive as I expected, but everything in there was something I would have ordered. As the name implies, green tea is the order of the day here. And I was spoilt for choice with its variety. I went for the Matcha Soft Cream Slushy ($7.50), a smoothie essentially with soft serve ice cream. I like the gritty texture of finely and evenly blended ice. So fine and gritty you can chew on it. And it doesnt melt into liquid for about an hour so I’m pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the ice cream was a nice smooth complement to the slush.

My friend who insists she’s on a ‘diet’ went for the Matcha Float, an iced Matcha latte topped with a scoop of green tea ice cream. The latte wasn’t sweet, bearing Matcha’s bitterness but the ice cream brought the right amount of sweetness to it. For those with not-so-sweet tooth, this would be your pick.

In addition I ordered a Seafood Mentaiko Udon with cream sauce. Who doesn’t love mentaiko??? This was served with scallops, prawns, squid and capsicum in mentaiko cream sauce. It bear no hint of spiciness as you would normally get with mentaiko dishes. The udon was nicely cooked with a slight chew while the sauce wasn’t salty or spicy , in fact a tad bland in my opinion as I prefer my food to be more flavoured. Ingredients were fresh and I enjoyed my meal there.

Was there on a weekday so ambience was nice, not packed nor noisy. However, it’ll most likely to crowd on weekends and during dinner time.
I would be back to try the other offerings.

Just want to do a short review on this cleansing water from Innisfree. It removes not only sunscreen and BB cream but also light point makeup. You’d probably already know that green tea is a gem, especially when drinking it (hot). It benefits your body in in numerous ways, from improving brain function and making you smarter, to helping you boost metabolism by increasing physical performance. Though I personally think that applying green tea skin care products on the skin’s surface would not be as useful as getting it into your body, it’s still beneficial as it is really good in fight against aging, as it is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients !

The most important part when talking about cleansing products would definitely be the feeling it leaves on my face after applying, and for this innisfree cleansing water, I really love it ! I would say it feels more like a cleansing oil than cleansing water. For most cleansing oils, they make my skin feel greasy and uncomfortable, leading to the need to use another cleanser after, so as to make my face feel clean enough for skin care routines. However, this green tea cleansing water is slightly different, as it does not make my skin feel overly cleaned to the point that I feel there is no moisture at all left on my skin after cleansing. My face feels clean and moisturized with a comfortable amount of oil after application, and after a minute or so of leaving my face to “cool off”, my face actually feels bouncy and fresh instead of squeaky clean, which would point to an overly tightened skin.

Place 2 sheets of cotton pad on top of pump and gently press downwards. Use wet cotton pads to softly swipe across your face. Whenever you feel that your skin is dry, finish by washing only with water after product use.

Since sunscreen is a necessity for everyday use and using just normal cleanser does not throughly remove the sunscreen, and using common make up remover is usually harmful to the skin, I would recommend this cleansing water to ladies who do not like the overly tightened feeling when using cleansing foam after using an oil-based make up remover. I personally do not like that kind of feeling as I feel like my skin is screaming for moisture ~ hahah ! Also, 80% of this cleansing water is filled with natural origin ingredients (Jeju Eco-friendly green tea moisturizing, antioxidant ingredients and witch hazel water), oh did I mention that this green tea cleansing water smells really really pleasant ?

Ps. The pump feature makes it very convenient to use !

For the month of March I will be doing reviews on Etude House products which I bought recently. Previously I have shared with you the Precious Mineral Any Cushion Foundation from Etude House and if you have yet to check that out, feel free to hop over after you finished reading this ^^

As for today, since it’s Friday (FINALLY !!) I will be sharing this Dear Girls Oil Control Pact with you so that you can head out to party tonight without your face feeling all oily and uncomfortable, which you could possibly crack an egg and fry it on your face HAHAH ! (I might have exaggerated abit)

Anyway, as you can tell from the title of this post, this product basically blots oil and keeps skin shine and oil free. Obviously not the glowy kind of shine, but the greasy shine that swims around our face at the later part of the day (MEH). Soooo ~ this Oil Control Pact is in compact powder form which not just blots away oil but it also provides clearer, brighter (whitens skin) and smoother skin after applying. The packaging said in just one touch you get all the benefits listed above, but you and I know that is just marketing sweet talk, you have to really pick up a generous amount of this powder and dab it gently on the oily areas (T zone) to give your face a smooth finish.

As for the cushion that’s attached with this Oil Control Pact, it’s not those spongy cushion that normally comes along with compact foundation, but instead, the texture is in between velvety and furry which tickles your face gently ♡

Before applying, clean your face to remove existing oil using tissue and followed by dabbing the Oil Control Pact on those oily skin areas. If you skip the first step and apply the Oil Control Pact straightaway, it will not only dirty your application cushion but also mess up your face when the existing oil and powder got mixed together. 

Also, if you are thinking that this product might harm your skin or why not just use an oil blotter sheet, I have some keypoints to at least let you know why I would prefer this than oil blotter sheet ^^

1. 4-Free in this product, free from parabens, triethanolamine etc. so it will not be harmful to your skin. 
2. 5-Vitamins which promotes healthy skin are included : Sanjay nuts chuhul, Atomization goet extract, Pomegranate extract, Grapefruit extract, Lemon peel oils. 
3. 7-Organic (Pure) ingredients added are Brazil nuts seed oil, Evening Primrose oil, Sunflower seed oil, Jojoba seed oil, Argan tree kernel oil, containing Olive oil, Sweet almond oil ♡

So are you convinced yet ? Hahah ! Anyway there are 2 kinds of Oil Control Pact that Etude House offers, this is one of them which gives you a matt finish and the other one offers you a shimmer finish so it depends on what kind of effects you are looking for. Oh ya one more thing, as there is fragrance (parfum) added in this product, there is this nice powdery smell that will be left lingering on your face ^^

Alright, before I go I am just curious, don’t you think the design on the surface of the compact powder is so cute ( ～’ω’)～ It tempts me to use it more often hehehe ! Share with me your thoughts ^^

Recently I have found my new favorite foundation to use on an everyday basis and that’s the baby I will be sharing with you today ^^

This magical foundation contains SPF 50+ / PA+++, the SPF value determines how long will the sun protection be and the number of “+” behind the PA determines how great the coverage of sun protection is. So in short, this baby is really good if you take UV protection very seriously ^^

If you were to compare, this works more like a liquid foundation than a compact powder. Instead of applying it with a brush or with hand, it comes with this mini navy cushion for its application and this cute little cushion has this velvety feel that gently spreads the make-up juice evenly onto your face with just a light dab ♥ Meanwhile, as the cushion is in navy, you can easily tell whether your dab was a little too generous or just right (you don’t want to look like a chinese zombie). Personally, I do not fancy the feeling of thick and heavy make up (esp foundation) as my face will get heated up pretty quickly in this humid weather, however this foundation feels light on my skin as compared to normal foundation (my face can finally breathe with make-up on) and at the same time adding radiant glow onto my face (you know those korean look). Super love ! On a side note, I do know Laneige (Korean brand) carries something similar to this product, but considering that this only cost $32 and its refill (eco-friendly) only priced at $16 , you should give yourself a chance and try this on your skin once you finish up your last pack of foundation & of course to save a bit from the refills for other useful beauty products. Make a switch, you have to try it to believe it *wink* Start investing on your face beauties ♥
